Motoha Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu [本派楊心流柔術] is a Koryu (or old tradition), and a branch of the Hontai Yoshin Ryu-Takagi Ryu lineage that was founded in the mid-1600's and has continued to this day through an unbroken lineage of master teachers.

本 - MOTO (origin)
派 - HA (branch)
楊 - YO (willow)
心 - SHIN (heart)
流 - RYU (style)

Motoha Yoshin Ryu International [国際本派楊心流 Kokusai Motoha Yoshin Ryu] consists of the head teachers of all member countries, who represent the teaching of Soke Yasumoto Akiyoshi and Motoha Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu around the World.

The Motoha Yoshin Ryu International group was introduced at the January 2011 - Motoha Yoshin Ryu International Congress.

The goal of the organisation is promote and coordinate the correct teaching of Motoha Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu around the world on behalf of Yasumoto Akiyoshi Soke.
