DENSHO
The Shinden Motoha Yoshin Ryu International Association Menkyo Kaiden issue Den ranks along with the Den transmission, makimono (scrolls) are prepared. The Densho ranks and requirements are:

SHODEN NO MAKI
This is the first ‘Beginning Transmission Scroll’, this level is possible after receiving the rank of Sandan.

CHUDEN NO MAKI
The ‘Middle Transmission Scroll’, this level is possible after receiving the rank of Yondan.

OKUDEN NO MAKI
The ‘Deep transmission scroll’, this level is possible after receiving the rank of Rokudan.

MENKYO KAIDEN
Full transmission

To receive the transmission a special lesson is needed, after which a small ceremony is held.
